A loving daughter was searching for a home for her 92-year-old mother. After an exhaustive search, they chose our home. Moving day arrived, and while we were excited to welcome our new resident, the moment she stepped inside, she broke down in tears. “I don’t want to be here,” she said. “It’s a beautiful home, but I want to stay in my own home, where I have cherished memories of my late husband and where I raised my children.”

Her daughter, also in tears, explained, “Mom, I understand, but I’m unable to meet your care needs at home right now, and these wonderful people can.”

That moment led us to ask, “Why must it be this way?” Seniors shouldn’t have to leave the homes they love to receive the care they need. This realization sparked the creation of Sunshine Senior Care Services. We are committed to “empowering lives at home.”
